How to Adjust DuraFlex Partials Chairside:

  1. Use a green barrel stone using long strokes at 20,000 to 25,000 RPM.  Any faster and you will overheat the material.
  2. Use a BP Blade to remove any frays.
  3. Use a brown rubber point with long strokes at 20,000 to 25,000 RPM.
  4. Use the BP Blade again to remove frays.
  5. Finally use a green rubber point with long strokes at 20,000 to 25,000 RPM.  This should bring back the polish and smoothness.

The supplies above are available from Oral Arts; contact our flexible partial department to get an adjustment kit.
