Element-Z Solid Zirconia

Element-Z Solid Zirconia

Element-Z full contour solid zirconia is the NEW natural option for posterior restorations. This solid zirconia restoration requires no porcelain overlay and provides both strength and esthetics. Its chip-resistant quality makes Element-Z the preferred treatment option. Element-Z crowns and bridges are milled to full contour using a solid zirconia that is 26% more translucent than conventional zirconia, resulting in more natural looking restorations. This monolithic material provides ultra-thin, yet strong, posterior restorations that provide the strength to support thin posterior single unit crowns to long-span bridges. Element-Z requires minimal tooth reduction of 0.5mm to 1.0mm; making it the conservative option for both the patient and clinician. Element-Z is available in all 16 VITA shades, offers a flexural strength of up to 1,200 MPa, and can be used for cement-retained and screw-retained implant crowns as well. Read more about Element-Z.

Ultra-Z Esthetic

Ultra-Z Esthetic

Ultra-Z Esthetic is designed specifically to answer the need for esthetic and functional requirements of the anterior region. Ultra-Z is milled from one of the highest translucency zirconias on the market - Katana UTML. This zirconia disc is pre-layered with gingival, body, and incisal shading which virtually eliminates any shading difficulties. Measuring at a 550 MPa with translucency and color similar to natural dentition, Ultra-Z Esthetic is the perfect esthetic solution for your anterior restorations. This material requires less reduction than monolithic glass ceramic restorations but remains gentle on opposing dentition. Read more about Ultra-Z Esthetic.

IPS e.max

IPS e.max

IPS e.max® is the most exciting crown material to date! IPS e.max is lithium disilicate glass-ceramic, digitally fabricated through the use of CAD/CAM technology. With pricing comparable to a non-precious PFM and the ability to conventionally cement in posterior or anterior regions, you simply cannot go wrong by prescribing this material. Please remember to take a stump shade in addition to the final crown shade- lithium disilicate is translucent and unable to block out the two darkest stump shades. Read more about IPS e.max.

PFM Restorations

PFM Restorations

Porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) restorations are fabricated using CAD/CAM technology resulting in a metal coping with a porcelain surface. Oral Arts uses only the highest quality alloys from Ivoclar Vivadent or Argen alloy manufacturers. Our porcelains are supplied by Ivoclar and Noritake. We do not cut corners or risk patient health by outsourcing PFM's to foreign countries. PFMS are an excellent option for dentists who seek a restoration that combines both durability and natural-looking internal characteristics. The underlying coping replicates the performance of a natural tooth, while the ceramic coating replicates the natural esthetics. Read more about PFM Restorations.
